Rayment Recruitment is currently seeking a confident qualified Finance Manager to join a prestigious global, growing company on a 9 month contract. The Finance Manager will report to the Global Financial Controller and be an integral part of the Finance team.
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Management of AP and AR functions through setting of objectives and monitoring performance

• VAT & Duty Reconciliations - By mid-month

• Oversee preparation, investigation, and resolution of Balance Sheet reconciliations

• Management of accruals and prepayments

• Oversee and provide cover for Fixed Assets - Maintenance of schedules, disposals, and depreciation postings

• IFRS16 accounting

• Assistance in month-end closure

• Department and cost centre analysis

• Budget and forecast preparation and business partnering

• Ad hoc Month-end journals

• Providing profit and loss reporting and analysis

• Assisting with month and year-end closure and audit

• Contribute to ONS completion / review

• Building and maintaining external and internal relationships

• Ad hoc reporting

• Cash Flow forecast and Treasury cover

• Closing cash books

• Any other duties as required by management for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

The ideal Finance Manager must possess the following:

• ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified

• Experience of team management

• Advanced Excel skills

• Knowledge of statutory accounts

You will ideally have experience of working with multiple currencies and an indepth knowledge of systems and SQL databases.
The role of Finance Manager is Maternity cover, initial period 9 months minimum with an immediate start.
The role offers hybrid working, 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
We are ideally looking for someone with an audit background who is now working in industry, This is a mixed role and someone from management accounts, statutory accounts would be considered.
