Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and strategic

Finance Manager

to oversee and direct the financial activities of our organization. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of financial management principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in financial analysis, planning, and reporting within diverse sectors, including corporate, non-profit, and governmental environments. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring fiscal responsibility, compliance, and strategic growth initiatives.

Duties



Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies aligned with organizational goals. Oversee preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, IAS, and ASC 606 standards. Manage budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and cost control measures to optimize resource allocation. Conduct risk analysis and develop risk management strategies to mitigate financial exposure. Lead treasury management activities including cash flow analysis, investment management, and accounts payable/receivable oversight. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for governmental agencies and non-profit organizations. Perform account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records. Supervise financial report writing and interpretation for executive leadership and external stakeholders. Oversee audit processes and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance management policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic planning initiatives related to finance and business development. Manage financial software systems to streamline operations and reporting accuracy.

Skills



Extensive knowledge of IFRS, IAS, GAAP, ASC 606 standards, and technical accounting principles. Strong expertise in corporate finance, cost accounting, revenue management, profit & loss analysis, and fiscal management. Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, investment management, and cost management strategies. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in strategic planning and team management. Excellent skills in financial report writing, interpretation of complex financial data, and account analysis. Ability to perform risk analysis and risk management effectively within diverse organizational contexts. Familiarity with governmental accounting practices and regulatory compliance requirements. Competence in using advanced financial software tools for balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger accounting, accounts payable/receivable processing, and cash flow analysis. Strong understanding of public accounting practices along with bookkeeping expertise for accurate record maintenance.
