Qualifications
Proven experience in financial management or a related field.

Birmingham office

Key Responsibilities
Oversee financial operations across several limited companies
Prepare monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and cash flow reports
Maintain accurate records using
QuickBooks
Manage payroll, staff expenses, invoicing, and VAT returns
Month P&L for all companies and departments
Monitor cash flow and assist with financial forecasting
Ensure compliance with HMRC, Companies House, and other regulatory bodies
Liaise with external accountants and support annual audits and filings
Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisions
Requirements
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
At least 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
Proficient in
QuickBooks
and Excel
Knowledge of UK accounting standards and regulatory compliance
Experience working across multiple businesses or legal entities
Strong communication and time-management skills
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of finance tasks
Desirable
Experience in healthcare, dental, or service-based industries
Familiarity with private/NHS billing (useful but not essential)
