The Job Opportunity

As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring high standards of financial accounting and control across the business. You will support commercial strategies by providing accurate and timely financial information, while also leading process improvements and ensuring robust compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. In addition, you will provide cover for colleagues such as the Management Accountant and Financial Controller where required, reporting directly into the Financial Controller. This job offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where you will be both hands-on and strategic, making a real impact on the business's performance.

Key Responsibilities

As Finance Manager, your job will involve:

Supporting the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring deadlines are met and financial data is complete and robust. Leading the preparation of management accounts, reconciliations, and financial controls. Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and efficiencies. Supporting treasury, cash flow, and credit management activities to safeguard financial performance. Ensuring compliance with VAT, PAYE, corporation tax, and cross-border transaction requirements. Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. Providing financial insight to guide business strategy, decision-making, and operational performance. Supporting and providing cover for the Management Accountant and Financial Controller when required.

About You

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with strong experience in financial management within a group or multi-entity environment. You will be motivated by end-to-end responsibility for financial accounting and control, with proven management experience and the ability to communicate effectively across both finance and non-finance teams. A strong working knowledge of indirect taxation, Excel, and ERP systems is essential. Above all, you will bring a proactive, detail-focused approach with the drive to see jobs through to completion.

What's on Offer
