Job Description

Crosstown Concerts, a leading independent concert promoter, are seeking a talented and driven Finance Manager to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the financial health and growth of a company at the heart of the live music scene. You'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strategic support to the business.

Responsibilities:

Management Accounting: Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Oversee cash flow management and ensure efficient working capital utilisation. Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance. Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts. Work closely with department heads to monitor and manage budgets. Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting standards. Prepare the annual accounts and associated records for finalisation with external accountants. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Team Leadership: Potentially manage and mentor junior finance staff. Work collaboratively with other departments within Crosstown Concerts.
Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in a similar finance management role. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in using accounting software (We currently use QuickBooks), Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Desirable Skills:

Experience in the live entertainment or events industry. Experience with ticketing systems and associated financial reporting.

Pay: 47,500.00-50,500.00 per year
