A finance manager is required for a leading Californian cosmetics company based in our Bristol office. This role is full-time

Requirements of the finance manager

Either CIMA or ACCA qualified (desired) or qualified by experience (essential) AAT qualified (essential) Experience of working and accounting for Stock(desired) Experience of producing management accounts and interpreting the results for non-finance colleagues (essential) Experience of using Xero (desired) or another similar accounting package (essential) Experience of producing and working with cash forecasts and budgets (essential)

Responsibilities of the finance manager

Produce Monthly Management Accounts, including the Profit and Loss and balance sheet as well as producing variance analysis and commentary Upload all month end journals, including prepayments, accruals, and depreciation Update and maintain a cash flow forecast Update and maintain an annual budget Produce Quarterly VAT returns Manage all bank payments Ensure inter-company reconciliations are completed Assist auditors and accountants with the production of year-end accounts and upload to Companies House Produce stock reconciliations Credit Control Provide 1st point of contact assistance to colleagues on the financial system;Xero
