We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our Weetabix team !


The successful candidate will be working closely with our Operations team to understand what drives our costs and help make the business more profitable. You'll play a key role in improving how we manage product costs and support our Innovation team as they bring new ideas to life.


As part of this role, you'll support and develop one direct report, working together to deliver great results. You'll also collaborate with teams across the business to deliver projects, improve processes, and find smarter ways of working every day.

Working pattern:

On-site 2-3 days a week. Weetabix Wednesday, where everyone comes into the office for some great collaboration and meetings -it's a must! While we operate a hybrid working pattern, we are open to providing flexibility where needed.

The Recipe (About the Role)



Work closely with our Manufacturing team to turn cost and performance data (like volume, pricing, and efficiency) into meaningful insights that drive action. Partner with our Innovation team to bring new and improved products to life -- ensuring product costings are accurate and helping assess the impact of key factors on business proposals. Lead the process for setting standard costs and managing the costed Bill of Materials across our full range of Weetabix products. Oversee the management of accounts for our standalone Ryecroft factory, ensuring everything runs smoothly and accurately. Collaborate with our Procurement team on major projects -- helping to set clear standards, track performance, and report cost variances. Deliver high-quality reports and analysis that help leaders make confident, well-informed decisions. Prepare accurate budgets and forecasts, clearly highlighting risks and opportunities to help the business stay on track and achieve its goals. Confidently challenge and support stakeholders to ensure we meet our financial targets. Look for smarter, more efficient ways to improve how we work -- driving continuous improvement across processes and reporting. Support key business projects such as system upgrades or profitability reviews, helping shape decisions that move the company forward. Ensure our team follows all compliance standards and internal policies (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance) Lead, mentor, and develop one direct report -- setting clear goals, supporting their growth, and celebrating their achievements.
