Finance Manager - Formula Space Ltd, near Canterbury

We are looking for a capable, hands-on and in-person

Finance Manager

to oversee financial operations and help guide the business through its next phase of growth. You'll take ownership of financial decision-making, reporting, and strategic planning, working closely with directors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the budgeting process

Develop short- and long-term financial forecasts to support strategic planning

Produce and maintain cashflow forecasts

Deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports

Oversee banking, VAT, and tax responsibilities

Monitor and control costs, highlighting trends and variances

Develop and manage reporting dashboards

Ensure robust financial systems, processes, and controls

Prepare for and attend monthly management/shareholder meetings

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years' experience in a Financial Controller (or similar) role

Relevant accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or QBE)

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Experience in an SME environment preferred

Confident using financial software and Excel
