We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee all financial operations within our small but growing business. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, supporting strategic decision-making, and managing day-to-day financial processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support business growth and stability. This role requires comprehensive financial management expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure fiscal responsibility and compliance with relevant regulations. The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in sustainable development.
Duties
Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Manage accounts payable processes ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
Monitor costs and implement cost control measures to optimise utilisation of resources.
Provide support on financial planning activities, including cash flow management and investment analysis.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies related to financial services.
Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders, providing insights for decision-making.
Support external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure transparency and accuracy of financial statements.
Support the analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for organisational improvement.
Experience
Proven experience in financial management within a similar industry or organisation.
Strong background in financial accounting, services, and reporting standards.
Extensive knowledge of financial planning, cost control measures, and accounts payable procedures.
Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Candidates should possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy. A recognised qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA is preferred but not essential for exceptional candidates committed to professional development within the organisation.
