The Finance Manager role in Chesterfield offers an exciting opportunity to oversee financial operations within the industrial/manufacturing industry. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic planning.

• Manage and support a team of four Accounts Assistants
• Oversee all transactional processes, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, cashbook, and bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely posting of all transactions
• Ensure VAT returns and other statutory submissions are accurate and submitted on time
• Implement and maintain strong financial controls and efficient processes
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Prepare and manage budgets to support the organisation's strategic goals.
• Analyse financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
• Manage cash flow and optimise financial resources effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes.
• Monitor and control costs to enhance profitability.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
• Provide leadership to the accounting team and support professional development
