We are looking for a an organised, analytical and proficient Finance Manager to join our expanding team in Chichester. The ideal candidate will be able manage our payroll process end to end, generate all clients invoices and ensure all supplier invoices are paid accurately and on time. The Finance Manager will work alongside our Registered Care Manager, HR Manager and Managing Director to be part of the management team of the Chichester office.
As Finance Manager with Vitale you'll be responsible for:
Payroll
Processing payroll from beginning to end on time for all colleagues
Verify timesheets from our care management system
Manage colleague expenses for payroll
Calculate pay with all relevant deductions
Manage colleague holiday pay
Manage colleague guaranteed hour payments
Manage, calculate and process NEST pension payments accurately and on time
Manage, calculate and process HMRC payments accurately and on time
Ensure all payroll tax filings are done accurately and on time.
Ensure colleague payroll records are kept up to date including new hires, terminations.
Resolve any payroll discrepancies and answer any employee questions
Work with accountancy firm to ensure we are compliant at all times
Work in collaboration with our HR Manager and Registered Care Manager
Supplier Invoicing
Manage payment of supplier and 3rd party invoices
Reconcile all payments on Xero
Client Invoicing
Generate client invoices and send out to clients on time
Track and manage incoming payments and reconcile accounts
Manage overdue invoices in a compassionate manner
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any billing discrepancies
Management Information and Reporting
Ensure the P&L is kept up to date with all transactions both in and out
Ensure Xero is kept up to date and reconciled on a daily basis
Produce an accurate and detailed report of each invoicing run
Part of the Chichester branch Management Team
Live and model Vitale's Values
Provide Management information to the MD and Management Team
Collaborate with the Registered Care, HR Manager and Managing Director to ensure the branch is compliant at all times and that colleague are supported to enable them to deliver the best care possible to our clients.
Experience required
A proven experience in a Finance Manager role
AAT or other recognised financial qualification
A strong understanding and be proficient in all areas of Xero
Be highly organised with a strong attention to detail
Effective communication skills to be able to respond and adapt to sensitive situations
