We're seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join our finance team and help us maintain robust financial operations as we scale. If you're passionate about numbers and coffee, this is your perfect blend.

Duties

Maintain accurate financial records for domestic and international transactions which include trial balance, P&L Statement and Balance Sheet. Reconcile multi-currency bank accounts and supplierdebtor accounts. Manage accounts payable/receivable, inter-company reconciliation. Process payroll and ensure HMRC compliance, payroll function outsourced. Prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow reports. Reconcile stock between finance system and trading system. Support budgeting and forecasting for seasonal buying cycles. Liaise with customs and freight agents for financial documentation. Assist with audit preparation and month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting. Credit checking. Liaise with operations and trading teams.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (AAT, ACCA, or equivalent preferred or qualified by experience) 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in trading, commodities, or FMCG Understanding of international trade finance and VAT rules Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sun Systems, Zero, Datev) Advanced Excel skills and experience with inventory tracking systems
