We have an exciting opportunity to join a small, professional and friendly finance team at one of the UK leading global procurement service provider. Reporting to the Financial Director, the role of Finance Manager will work across all aspects of finance with primary responsibility to support operational and commercial functions.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years' experience working as part of a finance team in a similar role, be enthusiastic, dynamic and a great communicator, looking to develop their knowledge and skills whilst supporting the business through an exciting period of growth.
Responsibilities
Full responsibility of Neba Freight Limited (Neba) and Rainbo Procurement Solutions Limited (RPS) including accounts payable, accounts receivable, statutory returns and preparation of monthly management accounts.
Manage working capital and cash flow for Neba and RPS.
Assist with the preparation of monthly Management Accounts pack for the Rainbo Group.
Preparation of annual budget and periodic forecasts for the Rainbo Group as required.
Ensuring financial systems, structure and processes are efficient, accurate and compliant, suggesting improvements where needed.
Monitor multi-currency cash balances.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for Rainbo Group companies.
Liaison with bankers and provision of all documentation and reporting to support credit facility management.
Cover Rainbo accounts payable and accounts receivable as required.
Managing, mentoring and motivating the accounts team.
Ad hoc reporting, analysis and any other activities to support business decision making.
Experience
IT literate with excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel (previous experience of Sage Line 50 accounting and Xero would be beneficial).
Confident with good verbal and written communication skills.
Numerate and able to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
Well organised, able to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines.
Customer focused and able to build positive working relationships.
Confident and able to use own initiative to effectively resolve issues and ask for help where needed.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration across departments.
