Finance Manager

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Finance Manager

to lead the Accounts Department and ensure the smooth financial operations of our co-operative. As part of our management team, you'll play a key role in budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance -- supporting our mission to deliver value to our members and operate with integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control Prepare and manage annual budgets and monthly management accounts Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders Submit VAT returns and annual waste packaging data Manage foreign currency purchasing and Euro payments Maintain ERP system accuracy and oversee payment authorisations Maintain the share register and calculate annual member rebates

What We're Looking For

Strong financial management experience, ideally within a co-operative or regulated business Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP platforms A collaborative team leader with a hands-on approach Confidence managing audits, budgets, and regulatory returns An understanding of co-operative principles is an advantage
