As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and evaluating the financials of the group company in order to make informed and calculated decisions. Your duties will include financial management, accounting, financial planning, budgetary and cashflow management to ensure the organisation meets its financial goals. With strong leadership skills, you will coach, mentor and guide your team in managing accounts payable, receivable and management account preparation. Duties include
Weekly/monthly cashflow forecasting
Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
Liaising with external audit with queries
Preparation and oversight of monthly management information
Prepare income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents
Liaising with key stakeholders to produce the management account pack
VAT Compliance
Ability to present financial information to key internal stakeholders including directors and the CEO
Production of regulatory returns
Delivery of change
Adhoc project work
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals
Ensure accuracy of high volume purchase and sales ledger functions
Experience
ACCA/AAT/CIMA part-qualification is essential
Previous experience with preparing management accounts and board packs
Experience managing a team
Proficient in Microsoft office suite, particularly excel
Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Sage desirable
Knowledge of accounting principles
Previous budgeting, forecasting, and cost control experience
