Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager (Field based)
Main Responsibilities
To provide Financial and Commercial support to the Managing Director
Head up and work on all finance and commercial work streams throughout the Black Diamond Group
Manage the Finance Team
Produce Monthly Management Accounts for all 5 Companies
Develop and maintain procurement strategy
Report to the Directors with improvement measures as required
Undertake tasks and projects as requested by the Directors
Provide appropriate reports to clients where requested in line with any existing contracts/KPI's
Liaise with HR to ensure processes in line with QMS and advise of any procedural updates/amendments as required.

Cash flow
Bank Reconciliation
Payment/Purchase Authorisation

The checking of client creditworthiness
Liaise with HR to ensure officer compliance with Smart Task book on/off process
Constant liaison with the Sales Team
Convert enquiry file / create sales order file/ chase completed works data
Manage the maintenance contract file
Monitor the master quotations / customer agreements
Chasing outstanding client invoices expediently
Sales invoicing - ensure details are accurate and submitted on time
Setting customer credit limits and input limits into Sage
Send monthly statements for Debtors
Chase non payers by telephone, email or letter
Place non payers & slow payers on stop & inform Sales Team as required
Liaise with outside debt collectors when deemed necessary
Issue weekly report on Debtors to those on the Cash flow and Sales Forecast list
Preparation of sales invoices in Sage and send to the customer
Input all sales invoices into the Sage Line 50 system via upload
Maintain the sales ledger static data with regard to customers details e.g. contact
Post customer receipts to Sage Line 50 Sales Ledger
Update Creditors and Purchase Ledger
Monitoring records of Maintenance and Keyholding
Formal approval of suppliers
Daily back up of Sage and click "Check" every evening that the backup has not been corrupted
Working with and cover for other staff members where appropriate
Any reasonable sundry relevant duties as deemed necessary
