Are you an experienced finance professional looking for your next challenge?
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our finance function, including management accounts, statutory compliance, cash flow, and supporting the wider business with financial information and advice.
Key responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
Management of annual budget process and quarterly forecasting
Supporting operational team budgeting
Supporting Procurement/sales proposal budgets
Oversight of statutory accounts and tax compliance
Cash flow forecasting and payment runs
Supervision of AP/AR and payroll processes
About you:
Fully qualified chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Experience in a similar finance role, ideally within an SME
Ability to work flexibly in a hybrid part-time role
This position is designed for flexibility with the option to arrange your hours across 5 days in a way that works best for you
Ability to travel to update board meetings x 4 per year (central belt) and some in-person office days at one of our office locations across Tayside
