FINANCE MANAGER

Part time, permanent, office based (Eaton Socon, St Neots).

20 hours per week (09:00-13:00 Mon-Fri) - 14.17/hr

Are you a proactive and enthusiastic Finance person looking to move into a busy role within a small Finance Department, reporting to the Financial Controller?

Do you excel at building good working relationships with others in the business and can communicate well with customers?

Do you have experience using a business and/or accounting system (e.g. Sage)?

This could be an exciting opportunity for you to join a growing flatglass rooflights manufacturing and installation business that focuses on delivering great products to its customers - first time, every time!

We are looking for an experienced, confident, enthusiastic and effective finance individual to join our Finance Department in St. Neots.

We would like to hear from individuals who have proven track record of performing accounts activities, ability to learn quickly and take ownership of their workload.

Responsibilities would include:

Sales/Purchase ledger VAT Sending customer statements Bank reconciliations Raising customer proforma invoices and taking card payments Credit control Assisting other colleagues and covering tasks during their absence

Requirements:

Proven experience in a finance manger role AAT or equivalent experience or accounting qualification Excellent numeracy skills (ideally GCSE in Maths at B or equivalent) Knowledge of Sage 50 would be an advantage Experience of working with business IT systems Ability to build and maintain working relationships with own team and others in the business Very good time management and organisational skills Ability to prioritise own workload as required and in line with weekly, monthly etc. tasks Ability to work with business confidential information Confidence to work without supervision, as part of the wider finance team Ability to work with accuracy in a busy environment Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written Experience of Microsoft Office
