Job Title: Finance Manager EMEA

Location: Buntingford

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

Job Summary:



The Finance Manager will play a key role in producing periodic management accounts and other financial information for the company, managing transactional activities required for effective financial performance reporting. They will be responsible for our European entities and our recently incorporated UAE ones.

Core Duties & Responsibilities



Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations for all accounts

Produce Monthly Management accounts for the EMEA entities

Post and review Project Revenue and Cost accruals.

Post and review entries for Prepayments, Accruals, Fixed Assets, Hire Purchase, and tax accounts.

Manage Bank reconciliations.

Review and post payroll journals

Foreign Exchange Rate input and management of the Foreign Exchange Rate process in Microsoft Business Central/Eque2

Reconcile intercompany accounts.

Prepare and submit VAT data for external advisors

Review and approve for submission VAT Returns prepared by external advisors

Closing of VAT entries in accordance with VAT returns submitted

Review of Corporate Income Tax (CIT) calculations prepared by external advisors.

Issue the quarterly Transfer Pricing invoices and Sales invoices between related entities in accordance with group policy.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements in all jurisdictions

Produce Year end accounts to TB level and liaise with auditors/FC to enable them to produce the statutory accounts

Review and approve statutory accounts prepared by external advisors

Support group audit in relation to all EMEA entities.

Leveraging and supporting the recently implemented ERP system to realise financial benefits for the business which will include process improvements to resolve various transactional issues.

Represent the business, upholding our core values and behaviours with all internal and external customers, clients and third parties

Maintain business and client confidentiality, adhering to applicable Data Protection regulations and Information Security Standards in line with company, and group policies and procedures.

Qualifications: Skills and Experience



AAT, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with proven experience in the finance function.

Minimum of 3 years transactional finance experience and 1 year of experience producing management accounts and statutory accounts

Understanding of VAT and Corporation Tax calculations

Track record of working successfully in providing financial support to both financial & non- financial functions

Experience with EMEA entities

Excellent at data manipulation and Excel skills

Attention to detail, take pride in the quality and accuracy of their work

Diligent and hard working

Confident working under pressure and meeting timelines

Experience in Microsoft Business Central (Microsoft Dynamics), or Navision

Experience of designing and implementing new reporting/management information in an efficient manner

Construction Industry experience with exposure to CIS or RCT (preferrable)

Power-Bi, Jet Reports Experience (preferrable)

Experience dealing with German Statutory accounts (preferrable)

A European Language (preferrable)
