ESBO (European Service Business Organization) is responsible for identifying, evaluating and determining new opportunities within the digital media and advertising industry with the goal of creating scalable services and businesses on top of the global footprint of European Samsung Smart TVs. The ESBO team is working to create value for partners, advertisers, and agencies through its unique insights into TV viewership in the shifting media landscape.



We're looking for a driven, collaborative and forward thinking person to join our ESBO FP&A function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FP&A and financial management, with a proven ability to drive strategic financial insights and ensure compliance with internal finance policies. This role will involve managing the reporting of revenue and expenses, collaborating with internal finance teams, and working closely with the tax team to mitigate risks and optimize financial performance.
Role and Responsibilities
Your key responsibilitiesOwn MX services monthly forecasting process for dedicated revenue & cost areas by working alongside internal partners, consolidating the data and analysing variances for reporting Develop and report on key operational KPI's driving efficiency and productivity Oversee regular commercial finance reviews on MX product KPIs including ROI on content investments on Samsung News service Prepare detailed financial analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning for commercial leaders Develop simplification, improvement and scaling of existing processes and tools Manage and control corporate expenditure, being proactive in identifying and mitigating potential issues and providing key stakeholders with relevant guidance Support annual budget planning process for MX division Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required Partner with finance and international teams to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance Generate various ad-hoc financial analysis and participate in ad hoc projects to aid the growth of functions as required Manage revenue, expenses, and key business metrics within our Product P&Ls Support leadership with insights into business growth drivers, risks and opportunities Ensure timely and accurate metrics and forecasts are created and maintained

What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:Proven experience in Business, Finance or related field Attention to detail and ability to multitask required. Reliable and trustworthy and willingness to explore and do new things Advanced Excel skills are required, including a deep understanding of formulas and pivot tables Must be task driven and have the ability to produce and hit key deliverable deadlines in a fast-paced environment Good project management skills with ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups and being able to present the manager with viable options Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to draw information from various sources, including people Ability to dive deep into data, existing processes, people and technology challenges to identify and understand issues and opportunities Demonstrate resilience, dealing with demands of challenges and changing priorities, learning from experience proactively Comfortable with technology, especially TVs Experience working with Salesforce - a plus Experience working with SAP - a plus SQL skills - a plus
