We are seeking a Finance Manager who will be responsible for managing all finance-related activities at the Club, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements.
Responsibilities
Process into Sage after month-end all invoices, receipts, petty cash, wages, reconcile bank account
Process daily takings
Organize payment of all invoices including set up of direct debits, standing orders, bank transfers
Prepare bank reconciliations
Weekly Banking
Produce monthly management accounts
Produce monthly finance report
Prepare annual financial accounts for 2 companies and consolidated inc. spreadsheets, Sage file and stocktakes ready for audit
Prepare annual tax returns
Manage VAT including partial exemption calculation quarterly and annual partial exemption calculation
Assist Club Manager as required
Requirements
At least AAT Level 3 qualification required
At least 5 years accounting/bookkeeping experience required
SAGE experience required
Excel experience required
VAT experience inc. preparation and submission of returns preferred
Preparation of annual accounts experience preferred
Attention to detail
Good communicator
Good team player
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 11,500.00 per year
