This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office (City of London location) and 2 days working from home.
Role Purpose
Ownership of financial oversight, month-end reporting, senior stakeholder engagement, Annual Report & Accounts production and team leadership
Key Responsibilities
Management of the Financial Reporting roleo
Month end accounting and production of monthly management accounts including associated commentar
Responding to queries from senior management including the CEO and CFO
Preparing quarterly Board reporting
Assist with production of the Annual Report & Accounts
Responsible for the management and timely completion of balance sheet reconciliations
Supporting review and production of accounting policies
Ownership of month end close journals including the Effective Interest Rate (EIR) income postings
Exercise financial oversight and review key financial controls
Skills and Experience
Strong Excel and reporting skills
Qualified accountant with a minimum of two years post qualified experience
Highly organised and methodical, with an ability to see tasks through to completion
Proven ability to take ownership of core finance processes such as management accounts, with minimal handover.
