Anderson Knight Recruitment is delighted to be working with one of our key clients, a high-flying retail business, in the search for a Finance Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced business that is continuing to scale.
This role is being offered as an initial 12-month fixed term contract, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent. The business is open to candidates who are qualified by experience as well as those with formal accounting qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of the monthly management accounts process
• Oversight of day-to-day finance operations, including AP, AR, and cashflow
• Preparation of monthly board reports and variance analysis
• Supporting the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors
• Budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with departmental leads
• Drive process improvements and identify efficiencies across the finance function
• Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders to support commercial decisions
• Support junior members of the finance team and contribute to a collaborative team culture

Skills & Experience Required :

• Proven experience in a similar Finance Manager role, ideally within retail or a fast-paced commercial environment
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and management accounts
• Confident working independently and taking ownership of core finance processes
• Excellent Excel and systems skills
• Strong communication and business partnering abilities
• Open to both qualified accountants and those qualified by experience
