We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee our internal finance function, and to provide a range of Finance and Company Secretarial services to our clients.
Role is hybrid working, requiring two days per week in our co-working office in Haslemere, Surrey, three days WFH. It will not be necessary to work from our London office.
Duties
Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers.
Bank reconciliations.
Posting journals for payroll, provisions etc.
Updating accounts analysis, generally in spreadsheet form.
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts.
Liaising with clients.
Liaising with auditors.
Preparation of Board minutes.
Company Secretarial
CRS tax reporting
FCA RegData returns
Ad-hoc tasks as they arise.
Requirements
Proven experience in bookkeeping/management accounting, ideally within the financial sector.
Familiarity with Xero accounting system
Self-motivated, able to work, sometimes to rigorous timescales, in isolation and as part of a team.
Good IT skills, including proficiency with MS Office suite of programmes
Excellent English written communication skills
Formal accounting qualifications are not required, proficient working knowledge of accounting preferred.
