At Robert Half, we are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to work within a shared service centre based in Liverpool.
This is a hands on leadership role, requiring strong management, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.
3-6 months interim assignment.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Shared Service Centre team, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management.
- Oversee delivery of all transactional finance processes (AP, AR, etc) ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Act as primary escalation point for service delivery issues, driving resolution and process improvement.
- Review of monthly reconciliations.
- Review of payment runs, and processing.
- Develop and monitor KPIs/SLAs to ensure the SSC operates effectively and meets business needs.
- Partner with the wider finance function and senior stakeholders to align SSC priorities with business objectives.
- Prepare and present management reports, highlighting risks, opportunities, and performance trends.
- Proven track record in managing finance teams within a Shared Service Centre or large transactional environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams in a fast paced setting.
- Experience of driving process improvements, system enhancements, and change management.
