Are you a hands-on finance professional looking for a role with real ownership in a fast-paced, founder-led business? We're a dynamic luxury resale and sourcing company with a global client base, and we're hiring our first in-house Finance Manager to take full responsibility for day-to-day financial operations and help overhaul our finance systems and processes to support the next phase of business evolution. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile all bank accounts and company cards across multiple currencies
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and cash tracking
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Prepare monthly management reports, P&L summaries, and assist with forecasting
Maintain and update cash flow forecasts weekly
Oversee VAT returns and ensure correct use of the VAT margin scheme
Liaise with our external accountant for year-end filings and tax compliance
Lead the creation, review, and overhaul of current financial systems and processes to ensure efficiency, control, and visibility
Demonstrate strong stakeholder management, working closely with the Founder, external accountant, and internal team
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has 5+ years' experience in finance roles within SMEs, ideally in founder-led environments
Understands the dynamics of small teams and is comfortable owning the full finance function
Has experience working with VAT margin scheme accounting
Can confidently manage cash flow, reconciliations, and monthly reporting
Has a track record in setting up or overhauling internal financial systems and processes
Is organised, proactive, and able to communicate clearly with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
Ideally holds AAT Level 4 or is part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or qualified by experience)
Tools & Systems
:
We currently use Xero but are planning to transition to Sage 50, which offers more robust support for VAT margin reporting. Familiarity with either system is welcome. Experience with system implementation or transitions is highly valued.
