Finance Manager

Site:

Chapel-en-le-Frith (3 days per week in the office)

Salary

: Up to 60,000 (depending on experience)

In this pivotal role, you will provide high?quality financial leadership, ensure smooth and accurate day?to?day operations, and deliver insights that shape decision?making across our business. As part of a Private Equity?backed, fast?growing CRO, you will be central to supporting our continued expansion and enabling the organisation to meet its strategic goals.

What you will be doing:



Lead and develop a small finance team, ensuring high performance and professional growth. Oversee all day?to?day transactional finance operations, including AP, AR, payments, and cash management. Take ownership of the budgeting and forecasting cycle, producing clear financial plans and partnering with teams across the business. Manage cashflow and treasury activity, ensuring strong financial stability and foresight. Drive the month?end and year?end processes, providing accurate management accounts and reports for senior leaders and the Board. Create meaningful financial insight and analysis, supporting decisions across Commercial, Operations, Sales, and Executive teams. Strengthen financial controls and processes, contributing to improvements in systems, reporting, and overall financial governance.

About you:



You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with proven experience leading a finance function and delivering high?quality financial reporting. You will have strong analytical and problem?solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insight for senior stakeholders. You will be confident overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, and month?end reporting, bringing structure and accuracy to every process. You will be an excellent communicator and business partner, comfortable working cross?functionally with operational, commercial, and executive teams. You will be proactive in driving process improvement, financial controls, and system enhancements, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. You will be highly proficient in Excel and financial modelling, and able to work effectively in a hybrid environment while managing shifting priorities and deadlines.
