Monday to Friday - 30 to 40 hours per week.

Flexible working:

We offer flexibility around start and finish times between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, to help balance work with personal commitments.

Salary:

15 - 20 per hour, dependent on experience.

Accounts Manager

to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities



Process and reconcile sales and purchase ledger transactions accurately and in a timely manner including all supplier payments to maximise settlement discounts available. Manage and monitor utility accounts, including meter readings, billing, and liaising with service providers. Perform bank reconciliations across multiple accounts, manage staff expenses and prepare and maintain an accurate cash-flow forecast. Process payroll and all required HMRC reporting including quarterly VAT return. Oversee credit control, including customer account management, debt collection, and maintaining positive client relationships. Support month-end and year-end accounting processes, including preparation of management reports, balance sheet reconciliations and audit documentation. Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and process improvements to enhance efficiency within the finance function.

About You



Proven experience in an accounts or finance management role (ideally with a distribution / wholesale background). Strong understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliation, and credit control procedures. Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work independently. Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise internally and externally.
