Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure the effective management of our financial resources. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of financial accounting, planning, and management. This role is crucial for maintaining cost control and optimising financial performance within the business.

Responsibilities

SAGE 50 Bank reconciling Payroll Credit control/Purchase ledger Broker experience preferable Invoicing form Microsoft Dynamics preferable Hands on Manager Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's goals and objectives. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost control. Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management, providing insights into financial performance. Lead the budgeting process, collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment with organisational priorities. Provide guidance and support to finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary to ensure compliance with financial standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in financial management or a similar role within the finance sector. Strong knowledge of cost control principles and practices. Proficiency in financial accounting software, preferable, Dynamics and redware, also Xero. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Experience in financial planning and analysis is highly desirable.
