Responsibilities
Maintain a monthly payroll file for all new starters, leavers and changes.
Input payroll information into system for all staff to a standard timetable.
Process and submit monthly payroll including statutory year end returns and P60's.
Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, sickness etc.
To prepare monthly profit/loss schedules for the review of company directors.
To ensure invoicing and the payment of invoices in conducted in a timely manner.
Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.
Send all P45s/P46s to Revenue and Customs for all starters and leavers.
Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
Produce and maintain monthly payroll statement for each service manager with actual and forecast financial information.
Contributing to the improvement of the Sage payroll system by suggesting changes and incorporating approved amendments.
Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Update all statutory payments as appropriate i.e. SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP etc.
Maintain a record of all staff annual leave, sickness and other absences.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Contribute to the accounting system by processing journals, posting's and transactions to the general ledger.
Carry out any other duties that are created due to the exitingencies of the day to day running of the organisation.
Raising monthly sales invoices
Reconciling supplier statements
Department analysis
Contacting customers and monitoring customer accounts to ensure a timely payment .
Payroll processing and analysis of information
Reconciling bank accounts on a monthly basis
Controlling the pension scheme and submitting the monthly information to NEST pension organisation .
Liasing with the accountants and providing all relevant year end information .
Experience
Proven experience in
financial management
, with a minimum of two years in a senior finance role.
Strong background in
financial accounting
practices and standards.
Demonstrable expertise in
financial services
, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team effectively.
Proficiency in
financial planning
,
accounts payable
, and
cost control
strategies.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
