We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Finance Manager to join our accounts team. As the Finance Manager you will play a crucial role in supporting the Accounts Department.

Financial planning - ensuring funds are allocated efficiently to achieve business objectives.
Financial control - safeguarding assets, managing budgets, and controlling costs.
Compliance - making sure all financial activities follow laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Performance insight - analysing financial data to guide decision-making and improve performance.
Cash flow management - ensuring the company has the right amount of liquidity and is investing resources wisely.
Oversight of general duties and responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:
Oversee the finance department's daily operations, including accounting, reporting, and payroll functions.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and stakeholders.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and financing arrangements to ensure healthy liquidity.
Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Implement and monitor internal controls to protect company assets and prevent fraud.
Liaise with auditors, banks, insurance companies and external partners on financial and compliance matters.
Support senior management with data-driven forecasts, investment appraisals, and business cases.
Lead, coach, and develop the finance team, fostering skills growth and high performance.
Lead the budgeting process, ensuring departmental budgets align with the company's strategic goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience of MS Dynamics preferred.
Experience in a Manufacturing industry and stock management systems.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial tasks.
AAT qualified or any similar accounting qualification preferred.
