About the Role
As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting commercial and trading teams through financial analysis, modelling, and strategic insight. You will be responsible for delivering accurate reporting, driving value through optimisation, and contributing to key business decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse weekly and monthly Gross Margin results, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Develop and maintain management accounts, forecast models, and reforecasting processes.
• Perform financial modelling, valuations, and strategic analysis, including sensitivity and outage optimisation.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow items, and central reporting (pensions, tax, KPIs, statutory accounts).
• Support budgeting and business planning, consolidating gross margin and cost materials.
• Coordinate audits, external submissions, and group reporting to ensure compliance.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements to enhance financial performance.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and support to senior finance and operational teams.

About You

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
• Strong experience with large, complex data sets and financial modelling.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Background in energy, manufacturing, or production sectors advantageous.
