We're looking for a Finance Manager to look after their own portfolio of clients and support the business owners to grow. You'll prepare clear, useful management accounts, set up better systems, and use technology to help business owners understand their numbers and make good decisions.
Some of your clients will have their own in-house bookkeepers, and you'll support them by checking their work, providing mentoring and guidance, and pulling everything together for month-end and management reporting. For others, you'll manage the full finance function - bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, Year end and reporting.
We're a fully digital business and helping clients adopt finance software and technology is a big part of what we do. You'll need to be curious about systems and keen to explore new tools that make life easier for both clients and our team.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage your own portfolio of limited company clients, delivering high-quality management accounts, reporting, and finance support.
For clients with in-house bookkeepers, review and support their work to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth month-end reporting.
For fully outsourced clients, oversee all aspects of their finance function - bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, and management accounts - with support from our team.
Implement and maintain efficient month-end processes, including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset management.
Prepare clear and insightful management reports, providing analysis and commentary that helps clients make better decisions.
Recommend and implement improvements to systems and processes, helping clients get the most from their finance software and technology.
Attend and contribute to client meetings, including board meetings where required, providing finance insight and practical business advice.
Support with quoting, onboarding, and developing client relationships as part of our growing practice.
Prepare year-end accounts and tax returns for review by the Practice Manager.
Assist the FD & Practice Manager with wider reporting such as forecasts, business plans, funding applications, and KPI dashboards.
Be an active part of our growth journey - sharing ideas, supporting projects, and helping us continually improve how we deliver digital accounting services.
Qualifications & Skills
AAT Level 4 qualified
Optional ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified or Part qualified
5+ Years Experience in finance roles
Industry experience and/or month end and management accounts exposure is essential
Strong systems skills - Proficient in using accounting software including Xero and DEXT
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Salary Up to 45,000 DOE
