Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure the financial health of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management, accounting, and planning, with proven leadership skills to guide our finance team. This role is critical in driving financial performance and supporting the overall business objectives.

Responsibilities



Manage all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Oversee financial accounting processes to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Develop and implement financial planning strategies to optimise resource allocation. Supervise accounts payable functions to maintain accurate records and timely payments. Monitor cost control measures to enhance profitability and efficiency within the organisation. Provide leadership and mentorship and training to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives through sound financial advice. Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations. Liaison with external stakeholders of the business where required for tax matters, sources of funding, systems infrastructure and continuous business development and growth

Qualifications



Proven experience in financial management, with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles. Demonstrated expertise in financial services and planning, with the ability to analyse complex data sets. Exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing teams effectively. Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and cost control methodologies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information clearly. A relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g. CIMA)is required with at least 2-3 years PQE ideally in the care or housing sectors. Pay: 55,000.00-60,000.00 per year
