We are looking for a proactive Finance Manager who can take ownership of our day to day financial and accounting processes, while playing a key role in helping us grow Reuseabox. As an experienced AAT-ACCA-ACA qualified finance professional you will have at least 5 years working in the industry, ideally in a well-established FMCG or manufacturing organisation.

This role is ideal for someone who is looking to move up into a management position and whose long-term vision is to become the CFO in a larger company with your own team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a hands-on, detail-oriented finance professional to join a purpose-led SME.

You'll work closely with our internal teams to drive accurate reporting and smooth processes. Reuseabox is a fast growing SME and your role will be pivotal in ensuring our finance systems and operations grow alongside our business.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of daily bookkeeping activities.

Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.

Prepare and oversee accounts payable, payroll, and the month-end close process.

Manage cash flow and prepare monthly cash flow forecasts.

Take ownership of payroll, monthly VAT submission, R&D claims, submission of annual accounts and tax returns to Companies House/HMRC.

Improve and automate core finance processes and reporting.

Support our ERP system (MS Dynamics) with a strong understanding of stock and stock control.

Act as a partner to the wider business, providing financial insights and challenge where needed.

Be part of our management team.

Work on cost accounting projects.

Experience & Skills - Required

Strong financial reporting and month-end close expertise.

Cash flow forecasting and working capital management.

Confident in ERP systems and comfortable improving system processes.

Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills.

Clear and confident communicator - able to explain finance to non-finance teams.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

AAT-ACCA-ACA qualified with at least 5 years working in practise.

Experience working in a finance team within a larger organisation.

Exposure to both management accounting and statutory reporting.

Hands-on experience managing audits and liaising with external advisors.

Experience with stock accounting and ERP systems.

Experience & Skills - Strongly Desirable

Experience working in FMCG / manufacturing businesses.

Previous exposure to scaling finance systems during business growth.

Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

Knowledge of R&D tax relief, EMI schemes or other HMRC processes

Familiarity with tools like Xero or other cloud-based finance platforms
