Key Responsibilities
Oversee all day-to-day finance operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports
Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors
Ensure timely VAT submissions and statutory compliance
Support strategic decision-making with financial insights
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar finance role, ideally within a growing SME or tech environment
Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and payroll legislation
Proficiency in accounting software (Xero)
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Part-qualified or fully qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred
