Resourcery Group are working with a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation based in central Liverpool as the look to hire a new Finance Manager. This business is currently undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation. Our Client is seeking a Qualified Finance Manager to join the business in a pivotal leadership role, offering a mix of strategic involvement and hands-on operational responsibility.
About the Role:
This is a high-impact position within the finance function, ideal for a commercially astute finance professional with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for driving process improvement. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations, developing a high-performing finance team, ensuring robust cash flow forecasting and supporting the strategic financial planning process.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production of monthly management accounts and all aspects of the month-end process
  • Lead, manage and develop the finance team, ensuring clarity of roles, expectations and performance standards
  • Review and oversee transactional finance processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain adherence to financial processes in line with relevant regulatory requirements
  • Build strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders, supporting budgeting and financial planning across departments
  • Enhance financial systems, controls, and reporting frameworks
  • Take ownership of cash flow forecasting and working capital management
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis to support business-wide decision-making
About You:
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, with a strong track record of team leadership
  • Exceptional skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Demonstrated strength in cash flow forecasting
  • Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools
  • A strong communicator with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Emotionally intelligent leader with a collaborative and motivational management style
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
  • A proactive and solution-focused mindset, with a strong emphasis on process improvement and regulatory compliance
