Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to the team based at Head office in Liverpool.

To contribute to the attainment of the company's business objectives by

Ensuring day to day operations and transactional entry run smoothly for Construction company Ensure cashflow is understood, monitored and forecast Ensuring accounts produced comply with relevant standards Business partnering with commercial and operational teams to report performance and assist with driving performance

Primary responsibilities, tasks and duties

To manage day to day financial operations To assist with development and roll out of processes and best practice across finance department Maintain accurate weekly cashflow forecasting working closely with relevant stakeholders Maintain working knowledge of CIS and VAT rules affecting the construction/development/property industry and apply to day-to-day processing Maintain compliance with external reporting requirements ie HMRC, ONS, Pension regulator Production of monthly management accounts including review of project appraisals, budgets and forecasts Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy Other Adhoc reports and requests as required

Ideal candidate

Proven experience in financial management within the industrial or manufacturing sector. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. The ability to communicate financial insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders
