Job Description

This is a pivotal, high-profile role for a finance leader to drive significant change and growth within Morrisons' Logistics division. This position is based in Hilmore House and reports to the Head of Finance - Logistics.
Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering: Ability to serve as a key business partner to the logistics leadership team and third party logistics provider.
  • Financial Reporting & Control: Accountability for accurate financial reporting and control, including weekly reporting, KPIs, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Strategic Insight: Ability to deliver accurate insight to challenge performance and drive improvements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Cross-functional business partnering across the business.
  • Budget Management: Accountability for control over the divisions budget, outturn, and forecast.
About you
We need an experienced, proactive finance leader with a professional qualification such as CIMA, ACA, or ACCA. More importantly, we're looking for someone who has a proven track record of leading a team and driving significant business change projects in a large, complex organisation.
You'll also bring:
Proven ability to build relationships at all levels and deliver results.
Capacity to work quickly and manage multiple complex priorities at the same time.
Being naturally inquisitive and willing to question assumptions ("not afraid to ask 'why'").
A drive to lead change and constantly seek improvement opportunities.
Experience or understanding of supply chain and distribution is considered beneficial.
