to join our dynamic team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for leading a team of three finance staff and overseeing key financial processes. The ideal candidate must be a fully qualified accountant with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience (PQE), with a strong background in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three finance professionals.
Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
Own the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Conduct insightful variance and performance analysis to support commercial decision-making.
Identify and drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives across finance.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and financial discipline.
Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors as required.
Support the FD in implementing a new branch network for TGL and relevant internal and external reporting requirements
Requirements:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Minimum of 2 years PQE in a finance or management accounting role.
Proven experience in monthly management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop team members.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Excel and financial systems
A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
Desirable:
Experience in Kerridge ERP
