Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and provide strategic insights within the professional services industry. This temporary position, based in London, requires expertise in accounting and finance to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Support 3 direct reports in the team
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Implement and maintain effective financial controls and processes.
- Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks.
- Support the preparation of audits and liaise with external auditors.
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
- Proven experience within the accounting and finance sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Competitive daily rate between 190 and 230.
