Finance Manager | Mainly Home Working
Job Description
This is a support opportunity to work within a brilliant business in Central London, reporting into a dynamic CFO.
It would be a superb opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to step into a Finance Manager role and take "ownership" of the full accounting function.
You will need to be a real "problem solver", analytically minded and be happy to roll out changes when and where necessary.
My client is quite open to looking at candidates that are making a "first move" from an Audit/ Practice role, as well as perhaps Management Accountants that are now wanting a leadership position.
Key responsibilities from the off will include...
- Preparing financial statements
- Oversight of month-end duties
- VAT Returns
- Preparing Budgets and setting Forecasts
- Handling of Purchase and Sales Ledger too
- Be CIMA, ACCA, ACA fully qualified
- Have a good breadth of accounting knowledge- gained via work in Audit/ practice and/or industry
- Possess excellent communication skills
- The will to progress in the world of accounting
- Have an eye for improving systems and processes (with demonstrable experience of this)
- 28 days leave + Bank Holiday
- Extremely competitive annual bonus (discretionary)
