My client is a growing retail brand promoting South East & East Asian lifestyle in the UK. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an experienced finance manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will have finance management experience within retail/FMCG industries. They will be comfortable with day-to-day finance duties as well as planning long-term strategy, thriving under tight deadlines & changing needs. This person will oversee the entire finance function of the company reporting to the owner & Operations Director. It is an office-based role located in East London. Responsibilities: \xef\x82\xb7 Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information \xef\x82\xb7 Predicting future financial trends \xef\x82\xb7 Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted \xef\x82\xb7 Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc. \xef\x82\xb7 Developing long-term business plans based on these reports \xef\x82\xb7 Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets \xef\x82\xb7 Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk \xef\x82\xb7 Providing insights on the financial health of the organisation. \xef\x82\xb7 Ensuring the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues. \xef\x82\xb7 Keeping track of market trends. \xef\x82\xb7 Looking for cost-reduction opportunities. \xef\x82\xb7 Developing relationships with external contacts such as auditors, solicitors and HM Revenue & Customs. \xef\x82\xb7 Reviewing & approving monthly company payroll Required skills and qualifications: \xef\x82\xb7 Proven experience as a Finance Manager \xef\x82\xb7 Experience in the Retail/FMCG sectors \xef\x82\xb7 Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns \xef\x82\xb7 Proficient user of finance software \xef\x82\xb7 Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills \xef\x82\xb7 Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used \xef\x82\xb7 A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles \xef\x82\xb7 Implementing cost control & budgets \xef\x82\xb7 Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations \xef\x82\xb7 BA/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics \xef\x82\xb7 Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA/ACA/CIMA Job Type: Full-time Salary: \xc2\xa350,000.00-\xc2\xa365,000.00 per year Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
