What are we Looking For?

Part-Time Finance Manager

Reports to:

Finance Director

Hours of Work:

Part time (30 hours per week) Monday to Friday (can be flexible between our operating hours of 8am to 6pm)

What is the Role?




We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join us at dbfb in Moulton Park. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading & developing the finance team, managing day-to-day financial operations for the business whilst also driving efficiencies and implementing controls.


Key Responsibilities:

Preparing monthly management accounts, performing balance sheet reconciliations & maintaining the general ledger, including audit support for all manual journal entries Full monthly variance analysis and commentary Analytical review and analysis of billing data, ensuring billing accuracy and investigating variances Reconcile all bank accounts, resolving any discrepancies Oversee weekly supplier payment run Review and control debtors and creditors Assisting with annual statutory accounts preparation and audit Complete all HMRC filings and returns Implementing /strengthening processes and controls to improve reporting and accounting accuracy Developing / mentoring and oversight of the transactional finance team, inc. hands on support This role will also require you to support with various ad hoc projects

Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate financial support and information. Motivated and ambitious individual looking to develop their professional career.

Qualifications & Experience:

CIMA/ACCA qualified Has a Minimum of 3-5 years of prior working experience in accounting with a demonstrable background Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Experience of Xero would be beneficial Prior experience of leading a team would be beneficial
