HOURS:
35 Hours per week - Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm - Flexibility hybrid working. Office-based with flexibility for remote working.

The Finance manager is responsible for Producing the accounts for the charity, with a combined annual turnover of 4 million. This role ensures effective and efficient reporting to ensure the charities resources are effectively managed to achieve its mission and goals. You will oversee all financial operations, compliance and audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
Prepare timely and accurate management accounts for all entities
Variance analysis
Build a monthly reporting pack and update monthly for each entity
Assist with Board reports
Cashflow forecasts for all entities
KPI reporting
Assist on the preparation of annual operating budgets, and half yearly reforecasting
VAT returns
Charity commission returns
Report building? working with stake holders on information they require
Insurance
Assist in new software implementation and new processes across the group
Audit & Compliance
Act as a point of contact for the external auditors
Support the annual audit process
Systems & Process Improvement
Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting tools to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and transparency
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Work closely with other departments, to ensure financial information is integrated and aligned with the charity's overall objectives
New starter finance induction and building a pack
Collaborate with external partners, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
Adhoc support to the Head of Finance
Person Specification
Minimum GCSE Maths and English Grade C or equivalent (E)
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel user with an interest in building skills (E)
Accounting Qualification ACCA/CIMA (E)
Have experience of working in Finance manager/management accountant role (E)
Experience of Management Accounts and Month-end (E)
Previous experience in equivalent environment - small business / education (E)
Experience of working with Sage 50 (D)
