FINANCE MANAGER - FAMILY OFFICE & BUSINESS OPERATIONS



Location:

Northwood Hills (On-site, 5 days per week. No WFH.)

Salary:

30,000 - 38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role



We are seeking an exceptional Finance Manager to join our family office, supporting Able Health Care (a children's residential care provider), alongside a diversified property portfolio and other family business interests. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic, multi-faceted operation where your contribution will directly impact the success and growth of the businesses.

Based at our head office in Northwood Hills, you'll work closely with our experienced Financial Controller who has been with the family for over 20 years, gaining invaluable exposure to every aspect of our financial operations. As our businesses continue to expand, there will be significant opportunities for the right individual to grow and develop their career with us.

Key Responsibilities



Payroll Management:

Process and manage payroll across multiple business entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Financial Operations:

Conduct bank reconciliations, manage accounts, and oversee expenditure across all business interests

Personal Financial Support:

Assist business owners with personal financial matters, including tax return preparation and planning

Contract Management:

Oversee and manage all supporting and service contracts connected to the various businesses

Team Supervision:

Line manage a junior Finance Assistant (part-time)

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to modernise systems, implement new technologies, and drive operational efficiency across the family office

Financial Reporting:

Provide accurate, timely financial information to support business decision-making

Problem-Solving:

Take ownership of financial challenges and proactively develop solutions

Essential Requirements



Qualifications:

AAT, CIMA, or relevant finance/accounting degree

Experience:

Minimum 4-5 years in a finance or accounting role with progressive responsibility

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Xero accounting software (essential)

Language:

Fluent English (essential)
