We're now seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to join our team at our Long Eaton site.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of day-to-day financial operations and play a key role in shaping the financial health of the business. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll embed finance into operational decisions, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all core finance functions: AP, AR, general ledger, cashflow, stock, VAT, tax, payroll, and banking Deliver timely and accurate management accounts, statutory reports, and tax filings Monitor and improve financial processes, systems, and internal controls Provide insight and support to the executive team on key financial matters Lead on external stakeholder relationships including auditors, banks, and HMRC Mentor and develop a small finance team (currently 1 direct report)

What We're Looking For

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or part-qualified / QBE with strong experience) Proven experience in a similar finance management role Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, compliance, and financial reporting Skilled in Excel and financial software; ERP experience (manufacturing preferred) Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines Leadership experience with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach
