Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function within a growing multi-site business.

This is an operational role focused on strengthening core financial control, improving accuracy and bringing structure to a busy finance environment. It will suit someone who enjoys being close to the numbers and delivering practical improvements rather than sitting in a purely strategic role.

Key responsibilities

Oversight of purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control Monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts Monthly review of profit and loss accounts Improving financial processes, controls and reporting accuracy Budget tracking, margin analysis and cost control Liaison with external accountants and auditors Providing clear, timely financial information to the directors

What we are looking for

Experience in a similar Finance Manager or Senior Accountant role Qualified, part-qualified or strong QBE considered Strong Excel and accounting system skills Detail-focused, organised and dependable Comfortable in a fast-moving, hands-on environment Happy to be operational rather than overly strategic

This role is offered as a 12 month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent depending on performance and business needs.
