Job Description
We're looking for a proactive Finance Manager to join our central finance team supporting 20 academies. This is a pivotal role where you'll lead a team of five Finance Assistants, oversee financial operations, and deliver insightful analysis to drive strategic decisions.
- Line manage a team of Finance Assistants, ensuring performance and development
- Oversee OPEX and CAPEX processes across multiple sites
- Deliver accurate month-end reporting, audits, and financial returns
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and benchmarking
- Drive process improvements using advanced Excel skills
- Collaborate with senior leaders and academy finance leads
A successful PQ Finance Manager should have:
- Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing a finance team (ideally 5+)
- Strong knowledge of OPEX/CAPEX controls
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS; macros desirable)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work at pace
- Adaptable and quick learner (academy trust experience desirable)
- Competitive salary ranging from 47,000 to 51,000 per annum.
