Roles & Responsibilities
Having grown quickly over the past few years we are looking for Finance Manager to join our team who can play a key role in the finance function. They will be responsible for the day-to-day management of company finances, coordinate a growing accounts team, produce monthly and annual financial reports, assist with the implementation of a new ERP system and support the wider business operations. Reporting into a Head of Finance, IT & Procurement.
Key responsibilities
Day-to-day management of accounts department and all related activities
Production of monthly financial packs (P&L, Balance Sheet etc.)
Financial and data analysis for project and performance reporting
Balance Sheet reconciliations with analysis and supporting evidence
Production and submission of VAT and CIS returns
Monthly management of prepayment, accrual and WIP schedules
Management of the fixed asset register
Daily cash flow management including bank reconciliations and credit control
Managing a team of three (equivalent of two full time) supporting staff
Monthly supplier management and payment run processing
Monthly stock review and reporting
Proactive approach to process and reporting improvement
Monthly payroll processing of approx. 40 direct employees
Support ad-hoc projects and other work
Supporting the annual budget and forecasting
Assist with compliance matters as they arise
Qualifications
You will have a combination of technical qualifications and relevant experience:
Degree in Accounting or AAT
ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified but will consider Part Qualified
Job Function Technical Knowledge and Skills
Good IT skills (Excel in particular)
Familiarity with ERP systems (Manufacturing/construction/Epicor/Sage 200 related desirable)
Ability to work to deadlines, multi-task and prioritise
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
Experience within manufacturing or construction industries desirable

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year + discretionary annual bonus
